Hello ECS Family,
You are invited!
I want to invite you to attend ECS Sunday, on May 19th. This is an annual tradition during which we worship together and celebrate what God has done at ECS this year.
Highlights: Student and faculty testimonies, student special music, scripture readings, a dramatic declamation, and a special speaker.
Speaker: Dr. Jerry Fisher, a native West Virginian from Kanawha County and is married to Judy, his wonderful wife of almost 50 years. He is a twenty-five-year veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Army and West Virginia University as the Director/Professor of Military Science in the grade of Lieutenant Colonel. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Webster University, and has an earned Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration from West Virginia University. He served as the Senior Administrator of the WVU School of Pharmacy for six years before moving to the Charleston area where he has been serving with his wife, Judy, assisting him for the past eighteen years as the Executive Director of the West Virginia Christian Education Association. He was called into full-time ministry in the Fall of 2001 and ordained to preach in July 2006. Jerry and Judy have two children and six grandchildren. They are members of Maranatha Baptist Church in Sissonville, West Virginia where Jerry serves as a deacon and adult Bible teacher.
Financial Aid Offering: During the service, a love offering will be received toward the ECS Financial Aid Fund that helps families in special need or hardships meet their tuition obligations. Also, a “Family & Friends Luncheon” will be served on a donation basis with proceeds going toward the financial aid fund.
Introduction of New Principal: We will be introducing our new Principal during the morning service and you’ll have an opportunity to greet them afterward.
